The Asapahu family’s fierce love and a whole-hearted dedication to their dreams is what has driven the them to become the owners of one of the most successful Thai restaurants in Los Angeles, Ayara Thai Cuisine. As Vanda, the eldest daughter of the founders, and her siblings Peter and Cathy receive the proverbial torch passed on from their parents, Ayara Thai faces another pivotal moment this upcoming weekend: a four month, complete interior and exterior renovation and expansion.

While the founders Anna and her husband Andy’s family traditions are continued and developed into the third generation through their daughter Vanda and her siblings, the trio embarks on a journey that will undoubtedly ensure success for multiple generations to come. Upon the completion of their renovation, the Asapahu’s will continue to pump out old recipes and new flavors that pay homage to their heritage, proving that all good things definitely must come to those who wait…

And for those still looking to satiate their Thai cravings, the family’s pop-up eatery Ayara LŪK will be open for the duration of the renovation, where guests can expect some of their favorites from Ayara Thai Cuisine along with unique twists on classic Thai dishes. Diners can expect to see an ever changing menu that will include the likes of their award-winning Khao Soi Chicken Noodle, Roasted Duck Flatbread, Lobster Pad Thai, as well as Blood Noodle Soup, When Tigers Cry Tomahawk, Grilled Pork Collar and Yen Ta Fo, a Bangkok street food favorite.

Ayara Lūk, pop-up Thai eatery is located at 8740 South Sepulveda Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90045.

The new hours of operation are July 6th-July 30th 11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. and extended late night hours beginning in late summer 2017.
