Winter Fancy Food Show

Ayara Thai Sauces made a trip to San Francisco for its first Winter Fancy Food Show 2014. Team Ayara Jenga-packed the car with all seven sauces and made the 6-hour road trip to Oakland, our temporary headquarters for the duration of our trip.


We arrived early Saturday morning (and after a quick nap), we went straight to setting up at the Moscone Center where the event would take place. Booth #1342 may have been the smallest at only 50 sq. ft, but we had the most personality and the boldest flavors! After a few hours of putting our displays together and meeting with potential buyers, we set off to do extra shopping and food preparation.


Sunday started off challenging with the flood of traffic that came right at opening, but we quickly hit our stride as attendees stopped in awe of our beautiful packaging and sampled some of our Ayara Thai Cuisine menu items such as When Tigers Cry and Pad Thai. People were impressed at our genuine Thai flavors, and vegetarian, gluten-free selection.


For the remainder of the show, we continued our groove. We even met our friends from Pok Pok PDX, who were sampling their refreshing Som vinegar drinks. We also made new friends from Passage Foods and Olivelle. Angelo Pietro gave us a taste of his tasty signature dressings, giving us a great reminder of why we eat our vegetables. Our friends from Dishcrawl stopped by to give us a warm SF welcome, too!


Our first Fancy Food Show was a huge success! We’re happy to announce that our sauces have been picked up by a local market and available for purchase in Berkeley, CA at Monterey Market. Our next step? We’re dreaming of the Sofi Awards! Thank you for supporting us in making this sauce dream come true! Hoping to bring you some delicious Thai cooking Fresh from our Kitchen to Yours!
